Prayer to Forgive Others
Father God, I praise You, for You are the God who forgives our sins and grants us a fresh start. I thank You, Lord, that You keep no record of wrongs. I surrender my (son/daughter) into Your hands. (He/she) holds bitterness in (his/her) heart and struggles to forgive others. Father, in our best interest, You have asked us to forgive those who have harmed us. Remind (him/her) of the Biblical command to remove bitterness and forgive others just as You have forgiven us (Ephesians 4:31, 32). Free (him/her) from the desire to seek revenge. Provide (him/her) with the grace to heal from deep wounds and empower (him/her) to forgive others wholeheartedly. Lord, I trust Your process to fill (his/her heart) with compassion. Fill (him/her) with Your Spirit and strengthen (him/her) to rise above offenses. In Jesus’ Name, Amen!
